Luis Alberto Suárez Díaz, nicknamed “El Pistolero,” plays for Uruguayan Primera Division club Nacional and the Uruguay national team. He has more than 500 career goals for his National team and Club. Alberto Suarez’s Early Life

Suarez was born on January 24, 1987. He was the fourth of seven boys to Sandra Diaz and Rodolfo Suarez. Paolo Suarez, a retired professional football player, is his brother. Suarez migrated to Montevideo at the young age of seven. When he was nine, his parents parted themselves, and Suarez furnished his football skills on the streets of Montevideo, besides working as a sweeper aged 15.

In 2005, Suarez started his club career at the senior level. Groningen signed him at the age of 19. After that, he was transferred to Ajax in 2007, Where he won the KVB cup. The primary turnout happened during Suarez’s career when he was signed by Premier League club Liverpool. In his first entire season, he won the League Cup. In 2014, he equaled the record for the most significant number of goals for a 38-game premier league season. And notched up his first European golden shoe. That summer, he was transferred to Barcelona, where he was a part of the sublime trio “MSN” alongside Neymar and Messi, claiming treble of La-Liga, CDR, and UEFA champions league in his very first season. He went on to win the Pichichi Trophy and his second European Golden Shoe in his second season.

Suarez has been on the winning team since his first senior club, club Nacional, where he claimed Uruguayan Champion as his first major trophy. He has been Dutch Champion and Dutch Cup Winner with Ajax Amsterdam. With Liverpool, he has won the English League Cup. The major turn-around in his trophy cabinet comes in Barcelona, where he carries off his significant number of trophies. The Uruguayan has won four Spanish Cup, four Spanish Champions, two Spanish super cups, one UEFA Super Cup, and one FIFA World Cup. Suarez has also won one Champion at Atletico de Madrid. Suarez’s career high for Uruguay was receiving Copa America for the season of 2010/2011.

The Ace striker Suarez has a record number of goals for his national team. He has scored 68 goals for Uruguay. He has represented Uruguay thrice in FIFA World Cup and twice in Copa America. He was also selected as the player of the year for Uruguay in 2010/11. He has been the top scorer for different clubs five times. Suarez has also represented Uruguay in the U20 World Cup. Besides his goal-scoring ability, he has also been acknowledged as the best assistance provider for Liverpool FC in season 2012/14 and Ajax Amsterdam in season 2009/10.
